As a member of the service industry (A Sever) at a resturant we will leave anonymous.. I found this quote which was funny upon reading.. but it led me to a situation i found to be so true..

Thanks Chris Richman.. whoever you are... because... in all honesty I do get weirded out when I am urniating or even coming out of a stall during a shift and am greeted so awkwardly by one of the men sitting at the table I am currently waiting on...its a very strange encounter with levels of silence that can and have ranked among those with elevator silence.. which I will get into in another post..but it really leaves you with nothing to say.. except "I'll see you shortly" ...Or "are you all almost ready to order" ... or "can I get you another beverage" that may be crossing the line a bit... usually I stick with .. "Oh hello there sir".. I'll improvise from there..
